[edit] Admission
Like ordinary prisons, but unlike normal schools in Denmark they preserve the right to demand a drug test from the teenagers when they arrive at the facility [2]. Because the legal position of such a demand has not been investigated in Denmark, it remains uncertain whether a such investigation will reach the same result as in United Kingdom.[3] where the result was that such drug test will potentially be challenged as a violation of privacy under the Human Rights Act 1998 and Article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights.
The first week of the stay is a intro week where they use the time to learn about the rules of the facility, security and have to participate in a kind of semi-wilderness therapy.

[edit] Education
The curriculum is regulated by the department of Education in Denmark. The levels are form 9th and 10th.
Beside the normal curriculum they claim to have connections to a lot of firms so they can offer work experience for 3 weeks. However statements made by the teenagers state that it is only a few firms and lines of businesses they can offers are very limited properly based on the fact that the facility are located in a area where the number of firms are few compared to Copenhagen or Aarhus.
The stay at the facility also include a 1 week work experience to a foreign country. In the previous years countries like Sweden, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, France and Italy have been used. During this trip they stay with a local host family, which has caused some of the teenagers to relocate due to the often well-known problems with host families abroad [4].
[edit] Living Conditions
The teenagers live on the campus in small houses with 4 rooms, a living room and two bathrooms in each house.
3-4 teenagers share a single room. There are both girls and boys in each house. Internet access are available in all rooms.

They are allowed to go on home visits beside two weekends where they have to stay at the facility.
