The Anchor home for boys was a behavior modificication facility located in Zapata, Texas.

It was closed down as result of a battle between the authorities in Texas and the founder Lester Roloff.

It is described as:

The ANCHOR HOME FOR BOYS with three big two-story buildings for dormitories, a cafeteria, gymnasium, shop building and dining room, is located in Zapata, Texas. It has a capacity of nearly three hundred [1].

Consequences

There are reports of the use of a demerit system which involved paddling in an extreme extent [2].
