Higher Grounds Entire serie The show is regarded as promotion for the industry. Among the advisers were the founder of Diamond Ranch Academy [1]
The Sopranos Season - 6 Episode 11 A very realistic use of a Youth transport firm is seen as the troubled son of Vito Jr is sent to an unnamed wilderness therapy program [2]
Weeds Season 1 - episode 1 & 2 The characters Quinn Hodes is sent to Casa Reforma in Mexico properly modelled after Casa by the Sea. It is not odd that she ends up holding a grudge against her mother.[3]
Desperate Housewives Season 1 - episode "There Won't Be Trumpets", "Children Will Listen", Season 2 (Andrew packs for the camp but it is not shown) The caracter Andrew Van De Kamp is sent to Camp Hennessy, which seem to be modelled after Eagle Academy in Florida. However, opposite Eagle Academy the camp in the TV-show seems to be involuntary. It also shows a typical pick up by a teenage transportation company.
Ghost Whisperer Season 1 - episode "Friendly Neighbourhood Ghost" A girls is committed to Shelter Harbor School for boys and girls which turns out to be a normal therapeutic boarding school with use of corporal punishment and isolation rooms. It also shows a typical pick up by a teenage transportation company.
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit Season 7 - episode "Fat" Jessica had been incarcerated at weight loss boot camp called "Hidden Glades Ranch". The PTSD resulting from her stay make her hate overweight people and she becomes partical responsible for the attack on an overweight young man.
The Mentalist Season 1 - episode 22 "Blood brothers" A boy is found dead at a wilderness styled program

Movie Description
Boot Camp A fictitious version of Paradise Cove which was located in Samoa instead of Fiji. While a program is operating in Fiji today, it has not been proven that this program looks like the one in the movie.
