Bethel Girls Academy was a behavior modification facility located in Petal, Mississippi [1].

It was for girls. The owners - the Fountain family - also operated the Bethel Boys Academy in Lucedale.

In the news

In 2004 38 girls were removed by the authorities.

In February 2005, girls rioted at the facility.

It was shut down by the authorities again in february 2005 [2].
