Copper Hills Youth Center is a residential treatment center located on 5899 West Rivendell Drive, West Jordan, Utah [1]

Program structure

They have 5 programs:

  • Two regular residential treatment programs targeted against the two genders.
  • A residential program for sex offender treatment
  • A day treatment program
  • A program for youth suffering from Aspergers.


They are best known for having using Conversion therapy on Lyn Duff with the use of Aversion therapy (smelling to ammonia while looking at same-sex pornography). At that time the facility was named Rivendell Psychiatric Center.
