Reality-Check Detroit is marketed as a community based boot camp program focusing on altering the behavior of teenagers.

The target group is youth aged between 6 and 14 [1]

The program is set to last about 12 weeks [1]

Program Structure

The program relys on Physical Re-instruction. There are weekly training sessions normally held on Saturday morning from 7AM to 12PM. Some sessions are done overnight between Friday and Saturday.

The program has a person checking up on school attendance

When the child reach a certain level a field trup is offered.

  • March 2013 the founder was arrested on charges including four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a teenager [2]
