Rinkenaes Efterskole is a continuation school in Denmark located in the village Rinkenaes near town Graasten .

General the education is on the same level as the public school are offered. Such facilities have to meet standards by the department of education in Denmark. They offer form 8, 9 and 10 equal to the public schools in Denmark.
The adolescents are grouped in families of 8. A teacher functioning as a dorm parents has a meeting one time per week to discuss various issues concerning welfare and challenges within the families.
November 2008 they announced that they will introduce a ban on smoking from the school year 2008/9. The ban is rather controversial because they expand the ban to be outside the campus also. In Denmark youth are allowed to smoke regardless of their age but only youth aged over 18 are allowed to purchase tobacco. It is quite common for parents to buy tobacco for their children .
