They became involved in a lawsuit. The charges brought against them were:

It is alleged that the Defendants' failure to care for, protect and act in the best interests of the Students resulted in loss or injury suffered by them, including psychological trauma, pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life and exacerbation of existing mental disabilities.[2]

August 2009 it was announced that the school would not operate in the school year 2009/2010 [4]
