Steve Cartisano is the former manager of Challenger Foundation - one of the first Boot camp styled wilderness therapy program.

Where the wilderness program were more outdoor education than real behavior modification program involving punitive methods, he created a new concept which is the basis of wilderness programs today.

After Challenger was forced to shut down, he worked in relationship with Pacific Coast Academy - not to be confused with the academy from the TV-serie.

He is also mentioned in relationship with New Hope Academy - a facility which only were open for a couple of months [1]

It remains unclear where he is today - even for his creditors. He has used several names in the past.
