Summit Quest was a behavior modification program using a combination of wilderness therapy and Boot camp techniques as tools.

It was founded by Gayle Palmer Degraff - a former employee from Challenger Foundation.

In the news

May 9, 1990 15 year old Michelle Sutton lost her life only 7 days after entering the program [1] [2]. The program was shut down in Utah and moved to Nevada just to close due to bad publicity. No charges were filed. The manager are now working as referral consulent.
